 | Gary Wyles - Managing Director Gary is the Managing Director of Festo Limited and has been with the Company for 25 years. He is a member of the Institute of Directors and holds the IOD’s ‘Diploma in Company Direction’. In addition to his role as MD he remains active as both a trainer and consultant for Festo Didactic and is responsible for the operational management of Festo Didactic in GB. Gary is a Master Trainer for Festo’s own ‘Fit for Change’ skills program which has delivered training to over 16,000 participants world-wide. He also represents Festo subsidiaries working with the Corporate Board on international HR strategies. |
 | Mark Hemming - Senior Consultant Strategic Development of People & Processes Mark has an extensive experience in development of people & processes across a range of manufacturing and other industries as well as a strong background in sales management. He is responsible for the development and delivery of a number of our programs and is a master trainer for our sales skills courses. |
 | Gary Fuller - Consultant With over 17 years experience Gary is passionate about the role training plays in an organisation’s success. He has worked with high profile businesses from apprentice to senior manager level, working with them to identify their skills gaps and put into place learning interventions to meet their future needs. |
 | Sarah Fry - Internal Sales Sarah has over six years experience working with clients to identify their needs and recommend the most appropriate solutions. Enthusiastic and positive she proactively manages participants in our Open Course Program ensuring they are prepared for the course and afterwards assessing the value of the training recommending future activities. |
 | Graham Spencer - Senior Instructor With a background in toolmaking and development engineering, Graham has a wealth of experience. For many years he has been involved in the development and delivery of Festo technical courses, helping clients assess the skills level of their workkforce and managing our training schedule and instructors.. |
 | Ros Eden - Business Centre Co-ordinator Ros brings over 22 years experience in customer services and makes sure everything runs smoothly. She coordinates bookings, prepares documentation, processes orders, books hotels, transport and anything else our customers or instructors need. |
 | Mervyn Richards - Instructor Mervyn has years of project engineering experience within the machine tools and automation of industries and has extensive knowledge of control systems technologies. He maintains close links with industrial trends through working on projects with the Festo Applications Support team.
Mervyn is qualified to teach in Further Education and holds B.Sc Mech Eng (Hons) and MSc from Brunel University. |
 | Andy Edden - Instructor Andy has been with Festo for over 20 years and during that time he has worked within the Didactic team as a instructor imparting skills and knowledge to a broad Customer base. Andy also now heads up our Technical Hotline team supporting customers across a wide range of products and technologies. |
 | Steve Stratfull - Instructor As well as being a highly experienced instructor for mechatronics, pneumatics, hydraulics and other technical sublejcts, Steve was involved in supporting UK SKill's successful bid to host the WorldSkills competition in London in 2011. |
 | Mike Leeson - Instructor Mike has a wide experience in control and related engineering disciplines, working at all levels within organisations. As well as the technology subjects he brings expertise on the Pressure Systems Regulations, both interpreting and implementing the legislation. |
 | Tim Tonkin - Instructor After completing a mechanical engineering apprenticeship in the UK, Tim has worked for many years in South Africa where he was involved with the design and installation of pneumatic and hydraulic systems for a range of applications. In 1996 he began work at a University in Port Elizabeth, teaching on many aspects of engineering and mechatronics. Returning to the UK in 2008 Tim is continuing his work in this field and is a welcome addition to the seminar team. |
