Effective project management

Attending this programme will give participants the process, tools and skills to be able to manage projects effectively. Participants will work on their own projects as 'live case studies' and will return to work with a detailed project plan. Participants will benefit from an exchange of experience from wide ranging industries and responsibilities.
Target Group
People in functions who have responsibility for carrying out projects. Examples of suitable projects could be:
- organising an exhibition stand
- launching a new product
- planning and carrying out a development project
- organising an installation project on a customer?s premise
Content
- Identification of projects structure
- Introduction to MI-PROMS (Mercuri International Project Management system)
- Setting goals and defining parameters of projects
- Planning the project, (assignment specification, resource planning, critical path analysis, stakeholder
communication, risk analysis, budgeting and change requirements)
- Executing the plan
- Identifying and developing leadership skills
- Actions to be taken at completion phase implementation

There are no prerequisites for the course.
