Getting the most from your training

Before the training:

  • Review the course objectives in advance
  • Define the personal goals and expectations for the training


During the training:

  • Avoid interruptions, Turn off mobile phones, laptops etc
  • Be on time


Develop your understanding by:

  • Ask questions
  • Participate in discussions and activities
  • Be attentive and courteous
  • Keep an open mind
  • Make notes do not try to transcribe
  • Highlight personal learning points and strengths

Immediately after the training (within 1 Week)

  •  Review material, notes and learning points to apply new knowledge and skills immediately
  • Discuss and review the training with your manager or coach
  • Plan a further progress review 2 months later
