DIARY DATES/EVENTS ANNOUNCEMENT:
The 'Service Ambassador' seminar enhancing service-engineer/client communications to mutual benefit
Following a successful debut, Festo Didactic announces further dates for its new seminar, 'Communication Skills for Service Engineers'. The two-day course addresses the challenge of ensuring effective communication with customers to identify and meet their needs. The seminar content develops a structured approach to handling customer communications, and helps service engineers to develop the necessary communication skills.
Commenting on the course, Trevor Graves, Service Manager for the packaging machinery manufacturer Kappa Corrugated UK Ltd, said: "This was a good introduction to the critical client relationship opportunities that service visits provide. What I particularly liked was the structured approach - I came away with a technique I can deploy immediately, and adapt over time to suit our needs".
The seminar takes place at the Festo national training centre in Northampton, or optionally at a client's premises. Festo plans to run the course monthly for the rest of 2004, on:
Communication Skills for Service Engineers:
- 9-10 September, Northampton
- 7-8 October, Northampton
- 11-12 November, Northampton
- 9-10 December, Northampton
